Stephen French joined our firm in 1999 as a Senior Manager and was appointed Director in 2000. Stephen brought extensive experience from his previous role as Senior Accountant with Bell Accountancy Partners, a Chartered Accounting firm in Caringbah, where he worked for ten years.

Stephen has been involved in public practice for over 35 years providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services to small to medium enterprises (SMEs). Stephen has a particular interest in helping this sector effectively manage their business operations to assist in their long term growth and success. He believes that being actively involved in the business allows one to spot challenges before they happen and to plan and manage them.

Stephen is a graduate of Charles Sturt University, a member of CPA Australia and a Registered Tax Agent. He is also a Registered Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor and an External Law Examiner. Stephen has a strong focus on superannuation reporting and compliance, offering advanced technical expertise in this area. In addition, he specialises in providing taxation advice to Australians working international and has travelled regularly overseas to present on tax planning strategies for Australian expatriates.
